Captain Ad for Publishers
How does Captain Ad work?
After signing up for Captain Ad, you can register your websites. For each website you enter the name, the URL and a few keywords, which best characterize the content of your website. Captain Ad then generates a HTML code snippet, the so-called "Captain Ad Code ", which you have to insert into the <head>-section of your web pages.
Captain Ad is now ready to run on your website and automatically detects all embedded flash videos, e.g. videos from YouTube or MetaCafe. Captain Ad then uses this information to place ads that best suit the content of your website.
What kind of ads will be placed on my website by Captain Ad?

How much money can I earn with Captain Ad?
Captain Ad pays the publisher depending on the number of ad views generated. The amount paid per 1,000 views (the CPM) and the definition of a "valid" ad view depends on the ad format used.
During the beta phase Captain Ad pays out a CPM for the ad format shown above of EUR 3,00. An ad view is valid if the user moves his mouse over the video and the ad becomes fully visible to the user. Depending on the outcome of the beta phase, Captain Ad might adapt the CPM paid to publisher.
